About Me
I graduated with a BSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Nottingham, receiving the Barton Prize, Tessella Prize, and University Prize for academic excellence. I then pursued a PhD in Machine Learning and Statistical Physics, specialising in Reinforcement Learning and Rare Events.
My research interests span reinforcement learning, the Julia programming language, high performance computing, software engineering, and large language models.
My recent focus has been on applying statistical physics methods — specifically Transition Path Sampling (TPS) — to large language models, investigating AI safety and the study of rare events in these complex systems.
